Product Introduction

Scrubbers absorb and dissolve soluble components in absorption liquid to remove gaseous pollutants such as Volatile Organic Compounds (VOCs), fumes, and mist. However, the gas to be treated must be physically or chemically reactive with the absorption liquid for removal. This device installs a liquid dispersion device that sprays the absorption liquid onto a packed bed filled with packing material, and passes the gas through below the packed bed. The sprayed absorption liquid is circulated by a circulation pump, and the gas passing through the packing layer and the liquid dispersion device is finally purified by an eliminator and discharged.

  • Scrubber using packing tower

    • Depending on the characteristics of the pollutants, substances such as acids/bases or oxidizers/reducers are used as the absorption liquid.
    • Packing materials are used to increase the contact area between the gas and the absorption liquid.
    • Highly efficient at removing high concentrations of gaseous pollutants.
    • Maintains a consistent removal efficiency even with fluctuations in gas flow rate.
    • The pressure loss is low, between 10~50mmAq, resulting in relatively low power costs.

  • Scrubber material

    • The material of the scrubber is selected considering the characteristics of the pollutants and the chemical reactions involved.
    • PVC+FRP: Durable, lightweight, and inexpensive but has lower chemical resistance than FRP.
    • FRP: Good chemical resistance (vulnerable to sulfuric acid), but weak against impacts.
    • STS: Excellent in chemical resistance and durability.
  • Packing material

    • The material of the scrubber is selected considering the characteristics of the pollutants and the chemical reactions involved.
  • Absorption liquid

    • The suitable absorption liquid is selected considering the characteristics of the pollutants and the chemical reactions involved.
